About

The addictive sliding puzzle that took the world by storm. Swipe in any direction to move all tiles at once. When two tiles with the same value collide, they merge into a single tile of double the value — 2 becomes 4, 4 becomes 8, and so on.

After each move, a new tile (2 or 4) appears in a random empty spot. The game ends when no more moves are possible. Strategy is everything: corner-stacking keeps your highest tile safe, while careless swipes can scatter your progress.

Difficulty

The board starts nearly empty with two low-value tiles. As you play, the grid fills up and higher-value merges become harder to set up. There are no explicit levels — difficulty scales naturally as the board gets more crowded.

Scoring

Your score increases by the value of each merged tile. Merging two 16s adds 32 to your score. Your personal best and last five scores are stored locally in your browser.
